At The Hampstead Gardener we pride ourselves on our experience and attention to detail. We always aim to do what is necessary to maintain your garden at the highest standard. We generally like to meet with you to see your space and hear exactly what you're looking for and your general budget (See categories of work below).

Below please find a list of our general prices for guidance.

We don't charge for travel time but we do ask that you provide parking vouchers or reimburse us for parking expenses.

One-off Gardening jobs:

We generally charge an hourly rate per person of £25-30. 

If more advanced expertise, machinery/tools/supplies or materials are required (like installing guide wires, new turf or supplying and planting new plants) we would discuss and agree a fee to cover cost of time/materials/plants in advance. 

Specialised / Extras / Machine use:
Jet Spray/Disinfectant          £15-30

Advanced Topiary                £20-50

Regular Maintenance Contracts
Weekly to annual contracts are available for people who'd like us to visit on a regularly scheduled basis. We meet with you and draft a garden plan for your property which outlines our expected work over the course of the coming year and estimated fees. Ad-hoc and one-off inquiries are also welcomed.

Build and Design projects
For bespoke design and build projects we will meet with you for free to discuss your requirements. If you'd like to proceed to design stage, we will develop an initial design for you for an agreed fee, where we would produce a garden design based on our discussion and garden measurements. You would be free to take the design and build/plant the design yourself. Alternatively, we can continue to build stage and, once the exact scope of the project has been agreed, we can calculate the likely costs involved in building and executing the design and provide you with an estimate and timescale for any building and planting services required.

We are very flexible, so are also more than happy to execute a design someone else has already developed or, for those on a tight budget, we are also happy to provide design and planting plans for you to source plants and do the work yourself.
